Alcon is seeking a Customer Support Specialist (Billing & Payments) in Mexico City. You will manage accounts receivable, monitor balances, and support cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records.

The role requires 3+ years in AR, strong SAP and Excel skills, and clear English communication. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with opportunities to contribute to audits and process improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably with exposure to corporate collections and account reconciliation.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Soft skills: self-management, results-driven, collaborative, and capable of handling multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and reconciling accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of incoming payments.
• Monitoring outstanding balances and conducting corporate collections, following up directly with customers when needed.
• Executing and documenting account conciliation processes to ensure data integrity and alignment with financial records.
• Coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support cross-functional objectives.
• Supporting financial audits by preparing documentation and assisting with inquiries related to accounts receivable.
• Operating within SAP to manage AR transactions and generate reports, leveraging system functionalities efficiently.
• Continuously seeking improvements in AR processes while maintaining compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
