Alcon in Mexico City is seeking a Sr. Accounting & Reporting Specialist - Inventory to ensure IFRS-compliant accounting, timely journal entries, and robust balance sheet reconciliations.

You will collaborate with local stakeholders and regional accounting teams, support audits and internal controls, and strive to meet SLA/KPI targets in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with a track record of accurate financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits, with a solid grasp of internal and financial controls.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting within prescribed deadlines and in compliance with IFRS.
• Prepare accurate journal entries, robust monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and collaborate with local stakeholders for timely issue resolution.
• Communicate proactively with finance colleagues and regional accounting teams to address queries while adhering to Alcon standards and policies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all processes, policies, and procedures and ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Support SOX certification and foster a strong control environment.
• Assist in driving service delivery improvements and standard solutions across the FRA Ops.
