Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer II based in Monterrey, Mexico. You will install, commission, startup, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC and Building Automation Systems, working closely with project teams and customers to ensure reliable operation and energy efficiency.

You will serve as a technical expert and customer-facing representative, with travel up to 50% within the territory and primary responsibility at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent field service experience.
• 3–5 years in HVAC controls, BAS/BMS, or service support.
• Experience commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, testing, and validation of HVAC and BAS/BMS.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment, control systems, and field devices.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance and system upgrades.
• Analyze system performance and recommend actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Support emergency service calls and customer requirements.
