Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated HSE Intern to support the Health, Safety, and Environment department in maintaining a safe, compliant workplace in Mexico. The role is part-time and fixed-term, suitable for a student pursuing an engineering degree.

You will assist in implementing policies, conducting risk assessments, and delivering training while collaborating with multiple teams to foster a strong safety culture.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachlelor's degree in Engineering or related field with focus on HSE.
• Strong understanding of basic HSE principles and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in Spanish; English is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support the HSE team in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Participate in safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Help maintain accurate HSE records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documents.
• Support the organization and delivery of HSE training sessions for employees.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of HSE communication materials.
• Assist in waste management and environmental compliance activities.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a strong safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager.
