Honeywell busca un HSE Engineer II para promover y mantener un lugar de trabajo seguro, saludable y ambientalmente responsable. Trabajarás en San Luis Potosí con un horario híbrido y reportarás al Gerente de Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente.

Serás responsable de implementar programas HSE, realizar evaluaciones de riesgos, auditorías e investigaciones de incidentes, y apoyar la mejora continua para proteger al personal y los activos.

Formación

• Título universitario en ingeniería, ciencia o disciplina técnica.
• Inglés competente, lectura/escritura.
• 3+ años en salud, seguridad y medio ambiente.
• Conocimiento de normas y regulaciones HSE.
• Experiencia en evaluaciones de riesgos y auditorías.
• Gestión HSE y herramientas software.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar e implementar políticas y entrenamiento HSE.
• Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos, auditorías e inspecciones.
• Apoyar investigaciones de incidentes y análisis de causas.

Descripción del trabajo - HSE Engineer II

As a HSE Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will report directly to our Health, Safety, and Environment Manager and you’ll work out of our San Luis Potosi location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization by helping to reduce risks, prevent incidents, and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship that protects employees, assets, and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance and promote safety awareness.


• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.


• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics


• English Proficient


• 3+ years of experience in health, safety, and environment engineering or related field


• Knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices with the ability to apply them effectively


• Experience with risk assessments, safety audits, patrimonial security and incident investigation methodologies


• Proficiency in HSE management systems and related software tools
