Honeywell in Juarez, Chihuahua, seeks a Lead Mfg Eng Technician for 2ND SHIFT to support manufacturing operations. You will provide technical guidance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure quality and efficiency on the production line.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform time studies, define production standards, support routing and work center creation in SAP, and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth production flow.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience or certification.

You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to the manufacturing team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are met. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the manufacturing processes and operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
• Six Sigma certification or lean manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of quality management systems and tools
• Leadership and team management skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
• ISO 9000 Basic Knowledge

NICE TO HAVE:

• Advanced degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
