Preferred experience in coaching; active certifications in CPR/First Aid, concussion management, and safety training are required to ensure athlete welfare and program integrity.

Qualifications

• Background Certification (DOE) required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of concussion management required.
• Awareness of heat acclimatization procedures.
• Understanding of sudden cardiac arrest response.
• Suicide prevention training required.

Indoor Track-Head Coach

The coach is responsible for organizing, directing and supervising the team and athletes of the program they are coaching. The coach will take direction from the athletic director. Previous coaching experience is preferred, but not a requirement. The coach should have substantial knowledge of the sport and coaching. The coach will model professionalism, sportsmanship, and will serve as a positive role model while working in a team atmosphere.
