Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner helping market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products in Mexico. We seek an HR Generalist located at the Aguascalientes Site to drive people programs and support business growth.

The role partners with site leadership to manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy interpretation and training. Strong English, Excel and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Formación

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resources related function.
• Typically requires 3-4 years of Human Resources or related experience.
• Demonstrates operations and technical skills and comprehension of Flex functional standards.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of Flex policies and procedures.
• Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
• Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization from production associates through executives.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
• Proven experience leading and influencing groups, facilitating teamwork, and driving employee engagement initiatives.
• Strong customer service mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes with managers on HR strategies and actions such as identify current and future talent needs, recruiting methodologies to find diverse talent, and talent development.
• Advise site management regarding talent matters to drive outcomes that support business goals, including engagement and workforce planning.
• Assess management capabilities and business development opportunities.
• Provide feedback and mentor managers.
• Guide Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion activities with heads and employees.
• Participate as an agile member on site and corporate projects and process improvement.
• Support Flex Culture and Ways of Working and Business Expertise.
• Provide managers with guidance on change management regarding culture.
• Consult hiring managers on policy interpretation and labor laws to reach appropriate outcomes.
• Manage the employee life cycle activities including onboarding, orientation, annual reviews, merit, and exits.
• Develop local recruitment programs and budgets.
• Maintain networks and coordinate participation in job fairs and schools.
• Counsel management on policy interpretation and legal awareness.
• Investigate violations of policies and labor laws.
• Help resolve employee relations issues.
• Craft programs to improve employee satisfaction and retention of critical skills.
• Prepare records required by law or local authorities.
• Partner with Total Rewards on compensation and benefits programs.
• Administer local benefit programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead local HR Centers of Excellence on global initiatives.
• Educate employees about site programs.
• Contribute to program design and postmortems.
• Support sustainability initiatives.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a HR Generalist located in in Aguascalientes Site, Mexico

The HR Generalist role involves in charge of implementing HR programs and providing hold up to business client with respect to all people issues in order to hold up the growth and profitability of the business.

What a typical day looks like:

• Contributes with managers on HR strategies and actions such as identify current and future talent needs, recruiting methodologies to find diverse talent, and talent development.
• Advise site management regarding talent matters to drive outcomes that hold up our business goals, i.e., employee engagement, workforce planning, data trends and potential actions, employee policies and program matters.
• Assess management capabilities and business development opportunities.
• Provide feedback and mentor managers.
• Guides Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion activities with heads and employees, creating a safe environment that holds up diversity and provides a safe environment to our diversity workforce
• Participates as an agile member on site and corporate projects, teams, and process improvement.
• Hold up Flex Culture and our Ways of Working and Business Expertise.
• Provide managers with guidance change management regarding culture.
• Serves as a consultant to hiring managers current trends in human resources management, labor laws, HR policies, etc.to reach appropriate outcomes.
• Manage the employee life cycle activities with managers and employees, including on boarding, new employee orientation, annual reflection, merit, separation process and exits, etc.
• Develops local recruitment programs and budgets.
• Develops and maintains network of contacts and coordinates and participation in job fairs, schools and organizations regarding the organization and opportunities.
• Counsel management on policy interpretation and legal awareness.
• Advises and investigates violations of our policies and local labor laws.
• Help reach appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Crafts programs to improve employee satisfaction and retention of critical skill employees, while minimizing company exposure to liability.
• Prepares the research, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other department in the organization.
• Partner with Total Rewards in compensation and benefit programs.
• Administer local benefit programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations and reporting.
• Hold up HR Centers of Excellence on global initiatives at the local level.
• Communicate and educate employees and is the head on programs benefiting the site.
• Help craft the programs by participating in program design activities and postmortem reviews.
• Participate and/or manage employee Sustainability initiatives and events and help local sustainability events.
