Job summary

Four Seasons Punta Mita seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead luxury department operations, maintaining impeccable standards for guest rooms and public areas.

You will supervise a multicultural team, set schedules, monitor payroll, and collaborate with Engineering, Front Office, and Rooms to deliver extraordinary guest experiences. A hotel management background and fluent English/Spanish are required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in a management role in housekeeping.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Proven leadership in multicultural teams.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends.
• College degree or diploma in hotel management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping operations to meet luxury hotel standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and Rooms divisions.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and payroll accuracy.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness compliance across outlets and guest areas.

Education:

A college degree or diploma preferably specializing in Hotel management or equivalent experience is recommended.

Experience:

Experience required by position is from three to five years of employment in a related position with Four Seasons or other organization.

Skills and Abilities:

• Bilingual required, English and Spanish
• Effective oral and written communication
• Excellent emotional intelligence, interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Applicants are required to have three to five years’ experience in a management role in the Housekeeping department.
• A college degree or diploma preferably specializing in Hotel management or equivalent experience is recommended.
• Ability to work irregular hours, weekends and evenings
• Passionate and motivated leader, with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• A demonstrated ability to lead a multicultural team is essential, as is solid business acumen and a passion for service.
• Strong training and supervisory skills are essential.
• Laundry experience is a plus.
• Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as is computer proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
• Be on time according the roll schedule.
• Be on time on briefings, meetings and appointments.
• To pass over relevant information, pending tasks to do, projects, follow up activities to the next shift so everyone is aware.
• To follow up all the pending task with others departments (Engineering imperfections reported)
• Constantly verifying all the employees' payroll receipt are signed.
