Kettelsen International Recruiting is seeking a senior hotel maintenance engineer to oversee building systems, landscaping, and mechanical equipment, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable operations. You will lead engineering staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, manage capital projects and budgets, read blueprints, and liaise with vendors.

This role requires multi-site travel and the ability to relocate to the United States.

Formación

• Mexican, North American, or Canadian citizenship.
• Experience working on hospitality projects, preferably hotels.
• Degree in Engineering, Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
• Valid passport (Mexico/Canada/US) with at least 1.5 years validity.
• Ability to move to the U.S. and travel 100%.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee maintenance of hotel facilities: building systems, landscaping, and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform corrective maintenance.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to engineering staff.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Manage repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
• Maintain logs, records, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure safety procedures and hazard prevention measures are followed.
• Respond to emergencies and support life safety systems.
• Conduct inspections and resolve deficiencies.
• Manage capital projects, budgets, and operating costs.
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee contracted projects.
• Support energy conservation and efficiency initiatives.
• Train, supervise, and develop engineering staff.
