Nemak in Monterrey, Mexico seeks an Operations Head to lead and optimize sand core manufacturing, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery to molding and casting.

The role requires 5-8 years in automotive manufacturing and 3-5 years leading sand core production; expertise in Cold Box/Hot Box, IATF 16949, APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Lean/Six Sigma, SAP; leadership of 50-200 staff.

Formación

• Education in Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years in automotive manufacturing with 3–5 years leading sand core production operations.
• Strong knowledge of Cold Box and Hot Box processes, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Lean/Six Sigma, and SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and ensure production schedules, capacity balancing, and productivity targets.
• Oversee Cold Box and Hot Box manufacturing processes for excellence.
• Drive quality per IATF 16949 standards and defect reduction initiatives.
• Promote zero-accident culture and safe handling of chemicals and environmental compliance.
• Implement continuous improvement via Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and automation projects.
• Develop, coach, and lead production teams to achieve objectives and strengthen talent.
