Job description

We're looking for a Head of Recruitment who can own hiring strategy and execution end to end for a fast-growing, globally distributed team. This role is built for a scrappy, systems-minded leader who knows how to recruit at scale for remote roles, move fast without sacrificing quality, and build repeatable hiring engines from the ground up.

We are specifically looking for someone based in Latin America with deep experience sourcing and placing LatAm talent across remote roles. You understand the Latin American talent market, know where to find strong candidates across executive support, marketing, technical, and operational functions, and can build pipelines that consistently deliver quality hires from the region.

This is not a passive leadership role. You will be hands-on, deeply involved in sourcing, process design, and closing critical hires. If you thrive in startup environments, know how to balance speed with judgment, and enjoy building recruiting infrastructure rather than inheriting it, this role is a strong fit.

Why You'll Want to Join
  • You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
  • Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy
  • Observance of Holidays per company guidelines
  • 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive
  • This role requires availability during US business hours
  • High-ownership role with direct influence on company growth and talent quality
  • Opportunity to build and lead the recruitment function as the company scales
What You'll Work On

Recruitment Strategy and Leadership

  • Own the recruiting function end to end across internal and client-facing roles
  • Define hiring strategy, priorities, and execution plans aligned with business goals
  • Partner closely with leadership to forecast hiring needs and timelines
  • Set standards for candidate quality, speed, and hiring consistency across Latin American talent markets

Hands-On Sourcing and Hiring

  • Personally source and close critical roles across executive, marketing, technical, and operations functions with a focus on LatAm talent
  • Build and maintain high-quality pipelines across Latin America for remote roles
  • Leverage outbound sourcing, referrals, regional job boards, and creative sourcing strategies specific to the LatAm market
  • Conduct interviews, guide stakeholders, and drive offers through close

Process, Systems, and Scale

  • Design and refine recruiting workflows, scorecards, and hiring playbooks
  • Implement and optimize ATS and sourcing tools
  • Ensure consistent candidate experience across all touchpoints
  • Track recruiting metrics including pipeline health, time to hire, and quality signals

Team and Partner Management

  • Manage or mentor recruiters and sourcers as the team grows
  • Apply BPO-style discipline where helpful without sacrificing startup speed
  • Hold recruiting partners accountable to quality and performance standards
What You Bring
  • 10 or more years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or staffing leadership
  • Based in Latin America with deep, current knowledge of the LatAm remote talent market
  • Proven experience hiring for remote roles across multiple functions from Latin America
  • Background in BPO, agency, or high-volume recruiting environments in LatAm is a strong plus
  • Startup experience with comfort operating in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
  • Strong sourcing instincts and willingness to stay hands-on
  • Confident communicator who can partner with leadership and influence hiring decisions
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; Spanish fluency is a strong plus
Nice to Have
  • Experience building recruiting teams or functions from scratch
  • Deep network of LatAm talent across executive support, marketing, and technical roles
  • Strong data instincts around funnels, sourcing performance, and hiring outcomes
  • Experience sourcing across multiple LatAm countries including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, or Chile
  • Experience placing LatAm talent with US-based clients or employers

If you are a builder who enjoys owning hiring outcomes, rolling up your sleeves, and shaping the talent foundation of a growing company from Latin America, this role gives you the authority, autonomy, and scope to make a real impact.
