TRUMPF France is seeking a results-driven Procurement lead in Mexico to execute our purchasing strategy for productive and non-productive materials. You will ensure collaboration between Quality, Planning, Engineering, and Production to balance cost, quality, and supplier performance, while leveraging SAP to analyze data and optimize processes.

This role requires strong English, strategic thinking, and leadership to train and guide staff and to develop long-term supplier relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in supply chain management and supplier negotiation.
• Experience in raw materials and direct procurement.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and shipping & logistics.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced English.
• Strong communication and relationship management with internal departments and external suppliers/customers.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the purchasing strategy for productive and non-productive materials.
• Ensure effective communication between Quality, Planning, Engineering, and Production departments to balance cost, quality, and supplier performance.
• Evaluate quotations, coordinate bidding processes, and analyze supplier performance to improve the purchasing process.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
• Prepare analytical reports and data insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Train, supervise, and manage the activities of assigned staff.
• Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with Planning to maintain efficient purchasing based on SAP procedures.
• Propose and participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review purchase orders and payment processes, assisting in resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the purchasing strategy for productive and non-productive materials.

• Evaluate quotations, coordinate bidding processes, and analyze supplier performance to continuously improve the purchasing process.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
• Prepare analytical reports and data insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Train, supervise, and manage the activities of assigned staff.
• Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with the Planning department to maintain an efficient purchasing process based on procedures established in SAP.
• Propose and participate in cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.
• Review purchase orders and payment processes, assisting in the resolution of discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in Supply Chain Management and Supplier Negotiation Experience in raw materials and Direct procurement
• Basic knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Control, and Shipping & Logistics
• Advanced knowledge of SAP
• Advanced English
• Strong communication and relationship management skills with internal departments and external suppliers/customers
