Maersk in Mexico City seeks a senior leader to head Lead Logistics Operations & CX within the GSC Americas. You will shape the operating model, drive migration of work from Area to GSC, and partner with Area leadership to scale capabilities and adopt digital platforms.

You will mentor multi-site team leaders, govern SLAs and KPIs, and lead end-to-end Lead Logistics conversations with customers and product teams, across Mexico, Manila and LATAM, in a diverse, value-driven environment.

Formación

• Academic background in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years in logistics or supply chain operations with leadership experience.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and change leadership.

Here's the Deal

This is a senior leadership role for our Lead Logistics (LLP) pillar in Mexico, leading a multi-site team through a layer of team leaders and reporting into the Regional Head of Lead Logistics CX & Operations. It comes at a moment of growth: we are expanding our Lead Logistics footprint in the Mexico GSC and transforming how we operate through new digital platforms.

Day-to-day operations sit with your team leaders. Your focus is the strategy above them: shaping the operating model, anticipating challenges before they surface, building a strong partnership with our Area colleagues, and positioning the GSC as a true value-adding partner. You will also hold credible end-to-end Lead Logistics conversations with customers and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategic roadmap for the Lead Logistics Operations & CX pillar in Mexico
• Lead the migration of Lead Logistics work from the Area into the GSC, including team scale-up and capability build
• Drive the transformation toward SCP, NFTP and related digital platforms, with accountability for adoption
• Build a strategic, lasting partnership with the Mexico Area leadership team
• Design the operating model: accountabilities, decision rights, governance forums and escalation paths
• Own service delivery performance, SLAs, productivity and cost-to-serve across the pillar
• Forecast operational risks and challenges, and steer team leaders toward resolution
• Mentor, coach and develop team leaders into a high-performing leadership layer
• Lead end-to-end Lead Logistics conversations with customers and product teams
• Collaborate across multicultural, multi-site teams in Mexico, Manila and wider Latin America
• Ensure governance, risk management and compliance across the operation

The Basics

• Academic Background: Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Years of Experience: 8+ years in logistics or supply chain operations, including 4+ years leading leaders in large, multi-site teams
• Technical Skills: Operating model design, SLA and KPI governance, cost-to-serve and productivity management, digital platform adoption
• Software: MS Office (Advanced), supply chain and transport management platforms; exposure to SCP is an advantage

Must Have

• End-to-end Lead Logistics (LLP/4PL) expertise, covering booking through invoicing. Financial Audit & Billing (FA&B) experience is a strong advantage
• Proven experience in work migration and business transformation
• Experience leading multicultural teams across different countries or locations
• English Level: C1
