Job summary

Ipsen Mexico S de RL de CV is seeking a hands-on Head of Finance, Mexico, to lead the Finance organisation in a hybrid Mexico City setting. You will shape financial strategy, governance, and performance, partnering with senior leaders to drive transformation and value creation.

You will work on budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance, tax, and internal controls, while building a high-performing team and translating complex data into clear business decisions for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive financial leadership experience.
• Experience in finance transformation and/or systems evolution.
• Experience with Mexican GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate complexity into clear business decisions.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams in complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication and change-management capabilities.
• A recognised professional finance qualification.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic financial partner to senior leadership, turning financial data into clear commercial insights and decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
• Ensure strong financial governance, statutory compliance, accounting, tax and internal controls.
• Drive the evolution of Finance through digitalisation, automation and advanced analytics.
• Simplify and strengthen core financial processes.
• Use data, business intelligence and real-time reporting to improve decision-making.
• Partner across the business and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing, forward-looking Finance team.
