Kraken is seeking a Head of Exchange Infrastructure to own the core exchange stack, including the matching engine and API layers. You will lead a small, independent team of product managers and work closely with engineering to deliver a single unified platform across products.

You will define the roadmap, set performance goals, and drive cross-functional alignment with risk, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and low latency for global markets.

Formación

• Senior product leader with experience in exchange, trading, or high-performance platforms.
• Experience managing and developing product managers at a senior level.
• Proven ability to set product vision and translate it into a long-term roadmap.

Responsabilidades

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the exchange layer, including matching engine and API engine.
• Lead and grow a team of product managers and set the bar for product craft.
• Consolidate multiple matching engines into one, starting with US derivatives and expanding internationally.
• Build interface-agnostic platforms so all product teams can rely on a single stack.
• Define success metrics (latency, throughput, uptime, resiliency) and drive teams to meet them.
• Partner with engineering leaders to sequence migrations without disrupting live markets.
• Collaborate with Risk and Credit Infrastructure to enable a single account for trading across products.
• Stay ahead of industry shifts and align cross-functional teams with strategy.
