Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Chief QA Automation Engineer to own QA for an enterprise AI platform built around MCP Servers. You will blend quality engineering expertise with emerging AI systems, verifying accuracy and stability of agent-oriented architectures from the ground up.

Responsibilities include defining QA strategy, developing Python automation suites, validating MCP protocol operations, and integrating tests into CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA/test experience
• 2+ years leading development teams
• Strong Python automation background
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed backends
• Familiarity with GenAI/LLM and agent-based architectures
• Knowledge of MCP Server/Model Context Protocol
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing approaches
• Excellent English communication (B2+)

Responsibilities

• Define QA strategy for AI solutions built on MCP
• Develop Python-based automated testing suites for MCP Servers and integrations
• Validate MCP protocol operations including tool discovery, schema checks, authentication, and integration tests
• Investigate agent-to-MCP-to-tool sequences and test various scenarios
• Assess stability, performance, and production readiness of MCP-based services
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers and architects to resolve quality issues
