Amentum seeks a Solid Waste Disposal Supervisor to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role oversees Hazardous Waste personnel, ensuring safe handling and compliant disposal across the area of responsibility.

The candidate will train staff, enforce OSHA/EPA standards, and coordinate safety programs while supporting decontamination and reporting activities in a remote overseas environment.

Formación

• Seven+ years of experience managing a solid waste disposal center/facility of similar size and scope to Diego Garcia, including three+ years in disposal operations.
• Proficient in operational, maintenance, and administration areas of an industrial solid waste program.
• Familiar with OSHA and EPA standards.

Responsabilidades

• Train and mentor personnel on procedures to operate Hazardous Waste Accumulation and Storage Areas.
• Implement ground safety programs to ensure contract and host installation compliance.
• Assist with decontamination operations as needed.
• Maintain workplace safety inspections in line with safety requirements.
• Perform safety related ISO inspections and related audits.
• Gathers and reports data for scheduled/unscheduled safety reporting requirements.
