Job summary

Intel Corporation in Guadalajara is seeking a Lab Engineering Power Technician to conduct engineering tests and validations for power solutions and Voltage Regulator testing within our lab environment.

You will perform fault isolation, platform rework, and detailed data collection, using scopes, probes, and other instruments, to support DCG power engineering and drive innovation in data center technology.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a similar technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in platform rework, including soldering and component replacement.
• Experience reading schematics and board layout databases; routine lab maintenance and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical validation and testing of Voltage Regulators (VRs) and other power solutions.
• Conduct operational tests and fault isolation on systems to identify issues.
• Execute platform rework including soldering and package/component replacement.
• Use lab tools (oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, function generators) for testing.
• Read and interpret schematics and board layout databases.
• Maintain lab equipment, calibration, and track parts and platforms.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and communicate findings.
