Job summary

Tormach Inc. in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is seeking a senior Plant Controller to lead the financial and accounting activities for the manufacturing operation. This hybrid role reports to the US CFO and partners with plant leadership to ensure accurate reporting, controls, and cost management.

The successful candidate will manage month-end close, cost accounting, intercompany transactions, inventory controls, and regulatory compliance, while coordinating with U.S. corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience working for multinational or U.S.-owned companies with cross-border operations.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for the Guadalajara operation.
• Manage month-end close and reconciliations, internal controls, and audits.
• Oversee cost accounting, standard costs, BOMs, and inventory valuation.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and cross-border reporting with U.S. parent.
• Partner with Operations and Finance leadership to drive profitability and efficiency.
