Job summary

Farmers Insurance in Mexico is seeking a highly motivated Accounting & Financial Reporting Supervisor to lead our Group Reporting activities and deliver critical financial information with precision.

The role requires strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with SAP, Power BI, and AI tools to enhance reporting. You will coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 4+ years in accounting, financial reporting, or finance.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with complex reporting processes and meeting deadlines.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work flexible hours to support deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead group reporting activities and financial reporting deliverables.
• Prepare quarterly and annual IFRS financial reports and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and variance analysis for leadership teams.
• Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
• Review reports and identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Support payroll-related accounting activities and reporting requirements.
• Lead and participate in projects related to financial reporting, process optimization, and systems enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide reporting support across multiple business functions.
• Utilize Excel, Power BI, SAP, and AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiency and reporting insights.
