Continental is seeking a Group Leader Development to drive local development activities for the operational development group within the business unit. You will oversee market-focused development, manage formulations optimization and support operations at the SLP facility, and align team activities with the DevCenter strategy to maintain technology leadership and competitiveness.

Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related sciences; Master degree preferred.
• > 2 years of technical experience in polymer industry.
• Project management experience in major projects.
• Successfully completed projects with high complexity.
• > 1 year leadership experience (direct or functional in projects).
• Experience in international projects.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication.

• The Group Leader Development is responsible for local development activities of the business unit for the operational development group.

• Organize and assign activities for the team to perform raw material exchanges, formulations optimization and operations support.

Job Description

The Group Leader Development is responsible for local development activities of the business unit for the operational development group, contributing to the DevCenter strategy. The function is accountability for market focused development (construction & formulation ownership) and maintenance of the local portfolio SLP facility. That includes responsibility organize and assign activities for their team to perform raw material exchanges, formulations optimization and operations support. Local solutions and standards are created to ensure technology leadership and competitiveness of the business unit. It contains the responsibility of the team and its interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and other related sciences. Master degree is a plus.
• > 2 years of technical experience in polymer industry
