Job summary

Magna Powertrain is seeking an experienced Labor Relations professional to manage daily relations with the union and worker representatives, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role involves addressing conflicts, participating in negotiations, and guiding leadership on personnel matters in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements include 3–5 years in Labor Relations or HR with industrial/manufacturing experience, plus advanced English.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law and related regulations.
• Experience with union relations and collective bargaining.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
• Strong mediation and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience leading workplace investigations.
• Advanced English is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily relations with the union and worker representatives.
• Ensure compliance with the Federal Labor Law, Internal Work Regulations, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Investigate and address labor conflicts, complaints and disciplinary procedures.
• Participate in labor negotiations and contract reviews.
• Follow up on terminations, sanctions, terminations and labor agreements.
• Analyze HR indicators such as turnover, absenteeism, disciplinary actions and workplace climate.
• Coordinate preventive strategies to minimize conflicts and risks; advise leaders on labor and personnel management; support inspections and audits.

Job Responsibilities:

Reponsabilidades: Gestionar la relación diaria con el sindicato y representantes de los trabajadores

Asegurar el cumplimiento de la Ley Federal del Trabajo, Reglamento Interior de Trabajo y Contrato Colectivo

Investigar y atender conflictos laborales, quejas y procedimientos disciplinarios.

Participar en negociaciones laborales y revisiones contractuales

Dar seguimiento a procesos de bajas, sanciones, rescisiones y convenios laborales.

Analizar indicadores laborales como rotación, ausentismo, medidas disciplinarias y clima laboral

Coordinar estrategias preventivas para minimizar conflictos y riesgos laborales Brindar asesoría a líderes y gerentes sobre temas laborales y de administración de personal Atender inspecciones, auditorías laborales y requerimientos de autoridades Apoyar en programas de comunicación interna y fortalecimiento de la cultura organizacional

Licenciatura en Relaciones Industriales, Administración, Derecho, Psicología Organizacional o carreras afines, Titulado y con Cédula Profesional
