Markem-Imaje, a leading manufacturer of product identification and traceability solutions, is creating a new software support hub in Mexico. You will join an international team providing advanced software support for industrial automation and integrations across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The role includes troubleshooting, working with VB.NET, C#, SQL, and OPC/PLC, with in-person training for 1-2 weeks in the office and later hybrid work with some early start times to support a global

Formación

• Technical education or relevant experience in Engineering, IT, CS.
• 2+ years in software support, development, or technical application support.
• Experience with VB.NET or C#.
• Intermediate knowledge SQL.
• Understanding of Windows environments, networking and client-server structures.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and reasoning ability.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in an international team.
• Excellent English proficiency.
• Flexibility to start around 6:00 AM to support global customers.
• Willingness to participate in a compensated on-call rotation (~weekend every 7-9 weeks).
• Availability to travel for projects or training.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the first contact for software support from regional and international customers.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Investigate incidents involving applications, databases, servers and industrial communication.
• Develop skills in VB.NET, C#, SQL and industrial protocols (OPC/PLC).
• Build trust with customers through proactive communication.
• Manage support cases via phone, email and ticketing while meeting SLA expectations.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to resolve complex issues.
• Document investigations, resolutions and best practices for the knowledge base.
• Expand technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience.
• Identify and prioritize issues; support deployments when required.
• Perform other duties to support the team.
