Metso is seeking a Supply Estimation Specialist to join the Global Quotation Support Team. You will estimate supplier lead times and costs to enable accurate sales quotations and delivery commitments, analyzing drawings and processes in a global, hybrid setting.

You will collaborate with sourcing, engineering and other stakeholders, develop cost estimates, and contribute to continuous improvement in quotation processes. The role reports to the Manager, Global Quotation Support Estimation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and technical drawings.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and interpret manufacturing drawings to estimate supplier lead times and product costs when information is not readily available.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain requirements to provide accurate quotation support.
• Collaborate with tactical sourcing, engineering and other stakeholders to resolve estimation requests.
• Calculate end customer pricing using estimated or actual costs, following pricing guidelines.
• Develop and maintain lead-time and cost estimates that support accurate sales quotations and customer commitments.
• Review estimation accuracy and identify opportunities to improve quotation quality and efficiency.
• Support cross-functional initiatives, including technical support, price estimation, and process improvement activities.
• Monitor and follow up on quotation and estimation requests to ensure timely customer responses.
