Job summary

Citi is seeking a Lead Protective Intelligence Analyst to own executive-focused threat intelligence within its in-house security function. You will lead analytical output across digital footprint analyses, security threat assessments, and OSINT across surface, deep, and dark web environments.

Based in New York, you will deliver high‑impact intelligence products to Citi's senior stakeholders, mentor analysts, and collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen executive security

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in threat intelligence, protective intelligence, or a directly related security discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in open source intelligence collection and analysis, with applied experience across social media, deep web, and dark web environments.
• Working knowledge in threat domains such as APTs, cybercrime, malware, and fraud.
• Ability to communicate complex intelligence findings clearly in written reports and verbal briefings to senior stakeholders.
• Capability to influence outcomes and manage relationships across global, cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical ability to identify patterns, assess risk, and provide actionable recommendations at operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English and Spanish are required

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of executive-focused intelligence products, including Digital Footprint Analyses and Security Threat Assessments.
• Monitor open sources, deep web, and dark web environments to surface threats relevant to executives and business operations.
• Apply OSINT techniques to identify vulnerabilities and inform security decisions.
• Assess regional threat data and correlate findings with intelligence requirements.
• Deliver executive briefings and written intelligence products with clear recommendations.
• Mentor analysts and set standards for analytical quality and data integrity.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and external communities to strengthen program reach.
• Represent Citi in cross‑functional collaborations to enhance protective intelligence output.
