Job summary

Celestica, Inc. in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Purchasing II to oversee weekly MRP outputs, ensure material availability for manufacturing, and manage supplier performance.

The role requires 7–10 years of SCM experience, a bachelor’s degree (APICS certifications preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lead a multi-functional team through audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business, Materials Management or related field; APICS certifications preferred.
• Strong English communication and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of ERP/SCM systems and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises weekly MRP outputs and supplier communications.
• Ensures materials availability to meet manufacturing build requirements.
• Resolves material shortages and supplier payment issues.
• Manages supplier performance and escalation on delivery schedules.
• Develops and coaches team, monitors KPI trends.
• Ensures compliance with audits and regulatory laws.
