Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking an Analyst to join the GPAT team in Mexico City. You will deliver data-driven insights, financial analysis, and scalable reporting to senior stakeholders across Bain’s regions and leadership.

You will transform data into clear insights on partner performance, compensation, and promotion diligence. You will build models, support the Partner Assessment System, and help modernize reporting with AI tools and Excel/Tableau workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced English required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, economics or related field.
• 2–5+ years of quantitative finance/analytics experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel including modeling, lookups, macros.
• Experience handling large datasets across multiple sources.
• Excellent organization, planning and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Develop analyses and presentations for senior leadership outlining financial and operational issues, trends, and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations, reporting and performance, and design analyses with recommended solutions.
• Aggregate financial data by client and geography to support decisions by Bain leadership and committees.
• Analyze firm and partner performance to support compensation processes.
• Collaborate with senior Finance to analyze trends and metrics; develop recommendations.
• Partner with Product team to support the Partner Assessment System (PAS) datasets and reporting outputs.
• Build analytical models and reporting solutions using AI tools, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx as appropriate.
• Respond to questions from office leadership, committees, and regional Finance teams.
• Support special projects and other analytical initiatives.
