TE Connectivity Corporation in Hermosillo, Mexico is seeking a Staff Project Manager Engineer to lead cross-functional teams in new product development projects. You will define schedules, drive execution, and manage budgets across global functions to meet financial and customer expectations.

The role requires coordinating with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other TE functions, reporting to the Sr. Manager Project Management in Middletown, USA.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage global project teams with key functions in regions outside of North America.

Responsabilidades

• Manage NPD projects following the LEANPD process, with a focus on launching new products on time.
• Maintain project data in Planisware to achieve CLS Business Unit data integrity goals.
• Ensure project progress and deliverables are achieved across all business functions to ensure compliance with LEANPD Stage Gate process.
• Work with project core teams to develop a project schedule and drive the project to meet that schedule.
• Work with the project core teams to develop a project budget and drive the project to meet that budget.
• Work with the project core teams to identify project risks and develop plans to mitigate those risks.
• Work with Finance and Industrial Engineering to develop project P&Ls and CERs to support capital expenditures.
• Update/communicate status of projects to Project Approval Committee (PAC).
• Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations to make sure committed New Product Sales (NPS) are achieved.
• Potentially contribute to or lead overall continuous improvement initiatives to address systemic issues in the new product development process
