TE Connectivity's Sr. MPDE Automation Control Engineer team in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, leads lean product development and advanced manufacturing improvements to ensure manufacturability and quality.

The role interfaces Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering, develops tooling and processes, and drives cost, cycle time, and performance improvements across TE's global production network. You will work on multiple automation projects, applying PLC/SCADA/HMI control techniques, SAP

Formación

3 to 5 years of experience in automation, control systems, or electrical engineering.
Experience with PLC programming, SCADA, HMI systems and motion control for industrial applications.
Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office.
Good project management skill: ability to work on several projects at once.
Create competitive strategies and plans.
Experience at solving problems for process and designs.
Interpersonal skills, communication and ability to multitask.

Responsabilidades

Serve as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering to ensure manufacturability and process optimization.
Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards.
Document processes and tooling in TE systems; support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability.
Initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time.
