Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Measurements Technician to support design, assembly, programming, validation, and improvement of automated measurement systems in manufacturing. The role requires a technical degree and hands-on problem-solving with engineering teams.

Responsibilities include leading projects, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining documentation, and driving cost-reduction and safety initiatives. CAD experience and basic PLC knowledge are essential.

Formación

Hands-on technical work experience in maintenance/engineering roles.
Reading electrical, electronic, and pneumatic diagrams.
Basic PLC programming knowledge (structured text/ladder).
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.

Responsabilidades

Support or lead projects to design, assemble, program, validate and implement measurement systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic equipment failures; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Develop and update technical documentation including Bills of Materials and operating procedures.
Drive continuous improvement focused on cost reduction, error-proofing, process control, and safety.
