Corning Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Measurement Technician to support the design, assembly, programming, validation, and continuous improvement of automated measurement systems used in manufacturing.

This hands-on role requires 2–3 years in maintenance or engineering, a technical degree in Electronics or Mechatronics, CAD experience (SolidWorks/ CREO), and basic PLC concepts, with collaboration across engineering teams to deliver reliable process solutions.

Formación

Bachelor-level degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or related field.
2–3 years in maintenance or engineering roles supporting test equipment or manufacturing processes.
1+ year developing manufacturing process solutions including error-proofing and preventive actions.
Basic English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

Support or lead projects for automated/semi-automated measurement systems.
Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Develop and update technical docs and BoMs for equipment and systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, and safety.
