Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of work experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, Controllership, Corporate Planning, Business Development, Innovation, or equivalent areas.
• Advanced English required (C1/C2 or TOEFL/IELTS equivalent).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• CFA certification or at least level 1 completed desired, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead key workstreams throughout the full transaction lifecycle, from opportunity screening and preliminary assessment through valuation, due diligence, negotiation, approvals, signing, closing and post-closing transition.
• Evaluate acquisition and funding structures, including all-cash transactions, joint ventures, strategic or financial partners, back-to-back transactions, equity contributions, debt financing and staged divestitures.
• Overseeing the end-to-end implementation of new market entries, partnerships, or business initiatives.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive dynamics, and industry performance to identify opportunities which would improve CEMEX’s positioning as a leader in the building materials industry.
• Prepare clear, fact-based recommendations and executive presentations for the CEO, Chairman, Executive Committee, Board of Directors and other senior decision-making forums.
