Job summary

Utopia in Mexico City is seeking a strategic Head of Procurement to lead our global procurement and supply chain for ultra-luxury hospitality assets worldwide. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle, from FF&E and OS&E to construction materials, trades, and professional services, coordinating with design, engineering, and site teams to safeguard quality and schedule.

The role demands 12+ years in procurement with global experience, strong negotiation, and ERP/BI tooling skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
Master’s degree or professional certifications (MCIPS/CIPS, CPSM, PMP) preferred.
12+ years in procurement and supply chain with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Define, implement, and oversee global procurement strategies across FF&E, OS&E, construction materials, and services.
Lead tendering, contract negotiations, and vendor governance to optimize pricing and terms.
Oversee international logistics, customs, and multi-currency payments for projects.
Mentor procurement teams and develop SOPs, dashboards, and ERP workflows.
Partner with Architecture, Engineering, and Project Management to protect design intent.
