Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business of Element Solutions Inc, in Mexico is seeking a Logistics Employee to coordinate shipments of finished products to customers, ensure customs compliance, and support department objectives.

You will manage daily international shipments, notify customers when orders are ready, prepare documents for customs, review broker invoices, and help create KPI reports while maintaining accurate freight records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Familiarity with inventory systems.
• Experience managing Customs Brokers.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily international shipments and customs clearance.
• Notify Mexico customer services when orders are ready for pickup and ensure accurate dimensions/weights.
• Prepare and send documents to customs agents and coordinate clearance to avoid delays.
• Review and approve weekly export pedimentos payments.
• Prepare hazardous materials for air shipments with proper labeling and documentation.
• Coordinate transportation, analyze transit times, and select best rates.
• Record freight costs in the control file and monitor expenses.
• Analyze weekly shipment volumes to determine feasibility of Igloo shipments.
• Send Advance Shipments Notices to customers to meet requirements.
• Follow up on air and ground shipments to avoid late deliveries.
• File digital customs files and maintain export records with RT keys.
• Review brokers’ expense accounts and carrier invoices for correct charges.
• Provide daily reports on orders not shipped and reasons for delays.
• Prepare shipping documents and bills of lading for carriers.
• Create and monitor department KPIs.
