Job summary

Ford México is seeking a skilled translator and localization specialist to translate and adapt in-vehicle and mobile app content for multiple markets, ensuring accuracy and regulatory relevance. You will use CAT tools and AI-assisted translation with strict human review, and help build glossaries and translation memories to support global projects.

The ideal candidate has a degree in translation or related field, advanced English, and experience with XML/Jira.

Qualifications

• Experience in translation/localization or project coordination.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1-C2) with strong writing.
• Proficiency with CAT tools and XML; Jira familiarity.
• Ability to work with cross-border teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate and adapt in-vehicle and mobile app content for each market.
• Use CAT tools and AI-assisted translation with review.
• Create, review, and maintain glossary and TM descriptions.
• Review source copy and collect inputs from translation engineers.
• Coordinate with designers, feature owners, developers, and LSPs; occasional meetings in China time zones.
• Track delivery dates and improve processes for global collaboration.
