Job summary

Ericsson in Mexico City is seeking an Intercompany General Accountant to ensure accurate intercompany and general ledger transactions across entities and currencies. The role requires experience with SAP and FIORI, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively in English while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Good knowledge of intercompany and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, period-end close, and financial reporting.
• Strong IFRS and SOX understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany accounting across global entities with timely, supported transactions.
• Prepare and process Journal Vouchers through SAP/FIORI with approvals.
• Conduct GL reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Oversee reconciliation activities and data gathering.
• Support monthly, quarterly, year-end close per deadlines.
• Analyze FX impacts in a multi-currency environment.
• Account for select payables/receivables and equity transactions.
• Maintain compliant documentation per IFRS, SOX and controls.
• Support audits with schedules, explanations, and responses.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to improve processes and tools.
