Job summary

Ericsson in Mexico City is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support the compensation accounting team, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely close.

You will independently prepare entries, verify payroll data, and manage reconciliations while collaborating with HR and finance across the group.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (CPA preferred), 2–4+ years in corporate accounting, and advanced Excel experience; familiarity with Oracle Fusion or SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2–4+ years in Corporate Accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Smartview, SAP or similar multi-facet accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare compensation entries and department allocations (salary, bonus, benefits).
• Verify payroll data integrity and identify errors or trends to improve accuracy.
• Prepare account reconciliations in support of the financial statements.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances on a timely basis.
• Provide analytical reviews of compensation accounts.
