Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Global Demand Planning Lead to manage forecasting for customers and products. You will head the demand planning team, develop SKU-level plans, and feed the Global S&OP process while coordinating with sales on supply and delivery constraints.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and regional teams to gather inputs and ensure an aligned demand plan, using BI tools and predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, or related discipline.
• Experience forecasting at SKU/region/product-family level.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication to explain forecast changes and risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU-level demand plans for regions, customers, channels, and product groups.
• Prepare statistical and judgemental forecasts across planning horizons.
• Support monthly demand reviews with analyses and documented assumptions, risks, and actions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and Supply Planning to align demand.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop planning scenarios.
• Provide visibility into supply constraints and recovery plans.
• Support forecasting tools, BI solutions, automation, and predictive analytics.
