Jobtailor in Mexico City is seeking a Contract Estimation Specialist to support development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for complex contracts. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Procurement to gather requirements, prepare detailed estimates, and ensure timely, compliant proposal packages for bids.

The role requires strong numerical ability, proficiency with Excel and estimating tools, and experience handling RFQs across global projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Proposals and Estimations.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience on global projects and multi-cultural environments.
• Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency with Excel.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across regions.
• Balance speed and accuracy to meet timelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of contract estimates and ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Assist Sales in securing business with timely, compliant estimate packages.
• Engage early with Sales to understand RFQ and design suitable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and estimate costs.
• Provide support to solution architects and estimating managers for detailed costs.
• Stay updated with trends and roll out new processes and tools.
• Present reports to estimation and business development teams as required.
• Own contract estimation and booking from site data collection to PO receipt.
• Contribute accurate forecasting for contract whitespace and upsell opportunities.
