Job summary

Ericsson in Mexico City is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support month-end close, post journal entries, and maintain vendor and financial records. You will interact with multiple stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 1–3 years of general office or bookkeeping experience, and strong Excel and ERP system skills (Oracle/SAP/QuickBooks).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the integrity of vendor master data and Oracle syncing.
• Review, verify, code and enter vendor invoices; code memos and refunds.
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, POs and receipts in Oracle.
• Coordinate with Treasury to schedule disbursement of payments.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks and tax reporting.
