Jabil in Mexico is seeking an experienced professional to develop, implement, and measure a Global Commodity Strategy that aligns with the needs of its Business Sectors, Business Units and Corporation. You will shape commodity strategies, build supply bases, manage pricing, and drive global infrastructure initiatives to support growth.

You will lead supplier negotiations, analyze market conditions, and develop cost modeling tools to determine true component value.

Formación

In-depth knowledge of assigned commodity(s) both technical and commercial.
Contract management and negotiations.
Understand finance statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
MRP understanding and supply base management insight.
CSR awareness and ability to align supplier activities with environmental, ethical, legislative, and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

Develop and measure a Global Commodity Strategy and Business plan that fully meets the needs of our Business Sectors, BU and Corporation (i.e. commodity strategies, supply base development, Global infrastructure, price management).
Negotiate supplier contracts and terms to maximize value and reduce total cost of ownership.
Analyze market conditions and implement supply chain strategies to assure supply and price competitiveness.
Lead continuous improvement through trend reporting and metrics management.
Develop relationships with Business Unit Management to align procurement with new business opportunities.
