Robertshaw Nuevo Laredo is seeking a Commodity Manager to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for components across manufacturing operations. You will manage a global supplier base, drive total cost of ownership, negotiate contracts, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 3–5 years in strategic purchasing, strong cost analysis skills, fluent English, and proficiency in Excel; experience with the PLEX

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Business International Trade or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or commodity management.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and supplier management.
• Knowledge of cost analysis and cost reduction strategies.
• Advanced English required.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with PLEX system – preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop purchasing and sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value generation.
• Analyze market trends and factors impacting commodity costs.
• Develop and manage strategic suppliers.
• Lead RFQ and supplier selection processes.
• Monitor supplier cost, quality, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
