Job summary

PALO IT is hiring an API Analyst to manage the full lifecycle of APIs provisioned from middleware. The role blends technical, operational, and governance skills to ensure availability, security, and performance of interfaces.

Based in a global tech consultancy, you will design, document, test, and monitor APIs while collaborating with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of API experience, MuleSoft certification, AWS experience, and strong English; hybrid work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in API design and implementation using tools like Mulesoft and AWS.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Certification in Mulesoft.
• Intermediate to advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for APIs (endpoints, methods, payloads).
• Design APIs by defining contracts (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) following standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation to assist internal teams or third parties in integrating services.
• Validate API functionality through functional, load, and security testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Use dashboards to report insights and collaborate during the implementation phase with internal and external teams, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvements based on performance metrics.
