Job summary

PALO IT is seeking an API Analyst to manage the full lifecycle of APIs provisioned from middleware. You will translate business requirements into technical contracts and design scalable interfaces using REST, SOAP and GraphQL.

You will document, test (functional, load, security with Postman/SoapUI), and monitor APIs, collaborating with global teams to ensure availability, performance, and security. Experience with Mulesoft, AWS, Jira, and OpenAPI/Swagger is preferred, with strong English skills

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a similar position.
Proficient in API design and implementation using tools like Mulesoft and AWS.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.
Certification in Mulesoft.
Intermediate to advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for APIs (endpoints, methods, payloads).
Design APIs by defining contracts (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) following standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation to assist internal teams or third parties in integrating services.
Validate API functionality through functional, load, and security testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Use dashboards to report insights and collaborate during the implementation phase with internal and external teams, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvements based on performance metrics.
