Job summary

Harvey AI is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional based in Mexico City to own day-to-day AP across the Americas, focusing on the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil expansion. You will work closely with Finance and the international AP team, handling invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and expense reviews.

You will identify recurring issues, streamline processes, and partner with Tax and local advisers to ensure accurate reporting and timely payments, while introducing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
• Experience supporting AP across the Americas, including US operations and LATAM requirements, esp. MX and BR.
• Experience handling high transaction volumes while engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of local invoice and tax-documentation requirements and when to escalate.
• Examples of driving improvements like automation of payment files or reducing manual entry.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day AP operations across the Americas with hands-on invoice processing.
• Process invoices across multiple entities and currencies with proper coding and approvals.
• Coordinate payment runs with Treasury and Accounting; resolve failed or delayed payments.
• Support month-end close through AP reconciliations and accruals.
• Help establish AP processes for new entities in markets such as Mexico and Brazil.
