AutoZone in Monterrey is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the planning and execution of preventive maintenance across 75 to 85 stores and regional offices. You will manage day-to-day operations of the maintenance team and coordinate with suppliers to ensure equipment reliability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Three to five years of relevant retail electrical/HVAC/plumbing maintenance experience.
• Experience managing technicians and vendors, with strong planning and budgeting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for 75–85 stores.
• Daily follow-up on tickets with suppliers and technicians.
• Supervise maintenance staff and external vendors.
• Administer annual maintenance budget and analyze supplier invoices.
• Coordinate major CAPEX projects and store resets.
• Inspect store appearance and safety compliance.
• Plan store floor cleaning, waxing, and general upkeep.
• Coordinate the adoption and reception of new stores from construction.
• Ensure firefighting equipment maintenance.

Responsible of the maintenance process management of 75 to 85 stores, regional offices and Hubs. Management of day to day operations of the maintenance department team, execution of the corrective and preventive maintenance plans to assure the stores operation and the correct functionality of the equipment. Makes the selection, training and supervision of 2 to 3 maintenance technicians and vendors in the preventive maintenance activities to electrical installations, air conditioning and general areas. It is responsible of the monitoring and preservation of the stores appearance working together with operation areas within labor security normativity. Administrates an annual budget of $6.5 MM. This position manages staff, work orders, and projects in a timely and professionally manner.

• Planning and execution of stores preventive maintenance program.
• Daily follow up to the tickets solution supported with suppliers and technicians.
• Structured Store visit for image monitoring and physical conditions of installations and equipment. Suppliers and technicians supervision.
• Recruitment, selection and training for maintenance technicians and suppliers.
• Annual maintenance Budget administration, quotations analysis, revision and deployment of supplier invoices.
• KPI´s follow up and action plans execution for energy saving.
• Coordination and execution of mayor CAPEX projects, equipment renewal and support to operations in store resets.
• Planning and execution of the annual store floor cleaning program, waxing and shining.
• Inspection, evaluation and reception of new stores from construction department.
• Execution of the annual maintenance program for the firefighting equipment.
• Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.

• Years of Experience: Three to five years.
• Type of Experience: Experienced in electrical, HVAC and plumbing maintenance programs for retail company.
• Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Strong in managing people and vendors, task lists, spreadsheets, web applications and be able to organize and plan at a high level all while completing and overseeing maintenance activities on a day to day basis. Able to manage multiple tasks or projects at once.
