Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Gerente de Producto Blockchain to lead the development of our blockchain ecosystem initiatives from Mérida. You will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform and its applications, partnering with engineering, marketing and business development to drive launches and growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management with at least 2 years in blockchain/crypto, strong leadership, and a passion for decentralized

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing company at the forefront of blockchain innovation, is looking for a strategic and experienced Gerente de Producto Blockchain to lead the development of their ecosystem initiatives. Based out of their offices in Mérida , you will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for their blockchain-based platform and its associated applications. This role requires a deep understanding of the blockchain landscape, including decentralized applications, smart contracts, token economics, and community building. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, and business development teams to ensure the successful launch and growth of new products and features. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a passion for decentralized technologies, and a proven ability to drive product success in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the blockchain ecosystem.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
• Translate user needs and market requirements into detailed product specifications.
• Prioritize product features and manage the product backlog.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee the development and launch of new products and features.
• Work with marketing and community teams to drive user adoption and engagement.
• Define and track key product metrics (KPIs) to measure success.
• Develop and manage tokenomics strategies to foster ecosystem growth.
• Act as a subject matter expert on blockchain technology and its applications.
• Communicate product strategy and updates to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in Product Management, with at least 2 years focused on blockchain or cryptocurrency products.
• Demonstrable experience in defining product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, dApps, and token ecosystems.
• Experience with DeFi, NFTs, or other blockchain use cases is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Experience managing agile development processes.
• Passion for decentralized technologies and building vibrant online communities.
