Givaudan in Mexico is seeking a seasoned Site Planning leader to manage material planning and production capacity, ensuring materials availability and on-time manufacturing and delivery to customers.

You will oversee internal and external inputs, design local Planning strategies, and drive KPI improvements while maintaining safe, compliant operations and leading a growing planning team.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering or related degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong background in supply chain planning and materials management.
• At least 2 years of experience in people management.

Responsabilités

• Provide input to design local Operations, Supply Chain & Planning strategies.
• Oversee tactical and operational site plans short, mid and long term.
• Maintain inventory levels following corporate standards (SLOB/WoFF).
• Report achievement of service level targets to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely responses to internal and external customers with realistic capacity-based plans.
• Adhere to quality, safety and industrial hygiene standards.
• Analyze planning performance and drive KPI improvements using statistical models and continuous improvement.
• Develop annual budget and operating plan execution.
• Act as escalation point for problem resolution and prioritization.
• Lead site Planning team HR processes and talent development.
• Collaborate with local/regional management and HR Business Partners to build talent pipelines.
• Drive development of Planning talent within and outside Supply Chain & Planning.

Objective

Lead the material planning and internal-external production capacity planning for the manufacturing site, ensuring the materials availability and efficient production plans guarantying the Inventory, WoFF, Service, Cost, Quality & EHS targets to secure that products can be manufactured and supplied on time to customers from existing manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide key supply and production capacity (internal & external) inputs to different stakeholders and participate in the design of the local Operations, Supply Chain & Planning strategies as well as definition of related objectives based on input provided by other local functions, e.g. Commercial or Business Development


• Oversee the design and execution of tactical and operational plans at site level on short, mid and long term to meet Operations & Supply Chain objectives


• Maintain an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standards (SLOB / WoFF)


• Control and report achievement of service level targets to Stakeholders


• Control that customers (internal and external) response is made on time and develop realistic plans considering capacity and raw material availability


• Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices


• Analyze planning performance and improve the KPIs by using statistical models, best practices and continuous improvement mindset


• Develop annual budget and expense control, and execute the annual operating plan accordingly.


• Act as escalation point for resolution of problems, complaints and prioritisation issues


• Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within the Site Planning team and validates related results


• Work with the local and regional Supply Chain & Operations management as well as HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipleline


• Drive the development and promotion of Planning talents within and outside Suply Chain & Planning and Operations

Academic Background

• Industrial enginering or related

Professional Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong background in supply chain planning, materials management, including exposure to business process redesign and systems implementations


• At least 2 years of experience in people management

Technical Skills

• Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools


• Proficient in Microsoft office tools


• Understanding of Forecasting (Statistical Models)


• Advance English (Mandatory)
