Capgemini in Aguascalientes, Mexico is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to join Capgemini Engineering. You will perform safety analyses across perception, planning and control modules in autonomous driving platforms, aligned with ISO 26262-6 and SOTIF.

Formación

• Software hazard and safety analyses on perception, motion planning, localization and vehicle control modules per ISO 26262-6 and SOTIF.
• Derive Software Safety Requirements (SSRs) and define monitoring/fail-safe mechanisms within multi-core and Linux/RTOS software environments.
• 5+ years of software development or SW safety experience in C++, Python, or ROS/ROS2.

Responsabilidades

• Execute core safety lifecycle tasks across AeroVect’s software and hardware platforms.
• Perform hazard identification and risk assessments (HARA, FMEA, FTA, STPA) for autonomous driving systems.
• Collaborate with software, robotics, hardware, and flight-test teams to ensure safety requirements are verifiable.
• Support safety case artifacts and verification evidence for deployment.
